Dorota Michalack
Student of Intercultural Communication, graduated from Central Europe Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in PoznaÅ„. Scholarship holder of the Alternative Dance Academy 2015 by Art Stations Foundation. She gained her experience exploring different methods of body work ranging from mime, which she has learnt from Gregg Goldston (Marcel Marceau’s student), through folk dances, physical theatre to broadly defined contemporary dance, Body- Mind Centering and Eastern Practices. She has developed her skills traveling all around Europe, participating in workshops, projects, festivals, e.g. P.A.R.T.S. Summer School, Les Ballets C de la B Workshops, Performers Lab Project, Ibiza Contact Festival. She was associated with Coinspiration Dance Theatre in PoznaÅ„ as a dancer and coordinator of artistic projects from 2011 to 2014. In 2014 she has joined Blum Theatre, with which she creates performances for the youngest children as a choreographer, actress and animator. She has performed in “Collective Jumps” by Isabelle Schad. Currently she teaches contemporary dance at PoznaÅ„ Academy of Performing Arts and she is involved in site-specific projects at the confluence of different fields of art.
